Earlier this month the Competition and Markets Authority published the final report of its market study into online platforms and digital advertising.  At over 400 pages, the report is comprehensive and will be responded to by Government in the coming months.  This is your opportunity to hear from the team at the CMA that wrote the report on its key findings and recommendations, as well as a chance to put your questions directly to them.

Gavin is a Director in the Remedies, Business and Financial Analysis team at the CMA, and was responsible for overseeing the CMA’s work in developing recommendations in the digital advertising market study, as well as the CMA’s analysis of the financial performance of the platforms. Gavin has a background in economic regulation and corporate finance, and works across the CMA’s tools, primarily in markets, antitrust enforcement and regulatory appeals. Prior to joining the CMA, Gavin worked as a regulator and in private practice advising regulators and infrastructure firms.
