The role

This is a full-time role in the Ad Tech team, whose work is at the centre of everything we do. This team of tech enthusiasts tackle challenges in the digital advertising industry and help our members navigate change. Ultimately, with the objective of making digital advertising more trusted, safe and responsible by ensuring compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy law and tackling ad fraud as well as upholding brand safety.

 

Role overview

The Ad Tech Executive is responsible for managing and helping to evolve the Gold Standard, a certification that brings together existing industry initiatives to improve the digital ad experience. This role is pivotal in managing our members through the certification process, identifying initiatives to uphold brand safety and supply chain transparency and delivering presentations about the initiative.

 

Additionally, this person will support the team on different ad tech initiatives such as preparing the industry for a cookie-less future.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end Gold Standard certification process, ensuring that all evidence is accurately processed, and updates are complied with.
  • Work with IAB UK members within the digital advertising supply chain to foster a safer, more effective online ecosystem
  • Identifying the type of company registering, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Deliver presentations to educate internal teams and partners on the Gold Standard requirements and benefits, direct members to relevant training modules
  • Raise awareness of initiatives aimed at cracking down on financial scam ads and enhancing the digital ad experience to members

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in the Ad Tech industry, preferably within Programmatic advertising.
  • Thorough attention to detail and solid organisational skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and identify gaps in compliance
  • Analytical skills and a balanced approach to matching industry standards and identifying discrepancies for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information (both as a summary and in specific terms as needed)
  • Agile approach in responding to evolution of the standard
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Able to work under pressure and comfortable with deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative as part of collaborative team
  • Good interpersonal abilities working with members and the IAB team

 

Management structure 

This role will report into the Ad Tech Manager.

 

Flexible working

We have a hybrid approach to working, with the whole company working from the office in Covent Garden every Wednesday and we ask team members to come into the office on at least one other day per week.
