Future of Audio
We all know how our behaviours changed in lockdown, yet as restrictions have lifted, which of these habits are here to stay and how is the nation actually feeling? What does this mean for digital audio and how should brands be connecting with their audiences, or meeting their need states?
Join us to find out.
We’ll be sharing the latest insights from our Audience Insider research, which captures how the nation was feeling each month since restrictions began, as well as a look into the Future of Audio, with views from advertisers and industry experts and how they see the role of audio advertising shaping up in 2021 and beyond.
Culture Next 2021: Cultural Rebirth
If 2020 was a “cultural wake-up call,” as our Culture Next research found last year, 2021 is shaping up to be a cultural rebirth. The COVID-19 pandemic has upended our idea of “normalcy.” An ongoing global movement for racial justice continues to challenge the status quo and fuel social change.
With this as the backdrop, Spotify spoke with Gen Zs (ages 15-25) and millennials (ages 26-40) across the UK to understand the biggest shifts in how both generations are creating, curating, and experiencing culture.
This session will explore how millennials’ and Gen Zs’ distinct perspectives (and inevitable overlaps) are shaping the audio landscape. We’ll look at their changing habits and tastes and provide advertisers with guidance on how they can engage, learn from, and create in collaboration with these important audiences.
