Guardian and eBay collab to give marketing help to entrepreneurs
Guardian Labs is teaming up with eBay to offer valuable brand growth advice to the UK's budding entrepreneurs.
A new collaboration from Guardian Labs and eBay is providing entrepreneurs with expert tips and advice on running a branded content campaign.
They've been working with MediaCom to launch the 'Do Your Thing' initiative, which is going to give 15 entrepreneurs the chance to win a ten-week mentoring opportunity with top eBay business figures.
As part of this, entrepreneurs - or eBay Doers as the winners will be known - will have the chance to attend a product photo shoot, receive a business building package and get additional support on eBay afterwards.
Extra advice-based material will also be published in the Guardian over the ten-week period, meaning those not lucky enough to win will still benefit from expert marketing and business growth hints and tips.
Speaking to The Drum, senior marketing director at eBay Gareth Jones commented: "This campaign will give us the opportunity to show how integral eBay is to the growth of every type of business - no matter how big or small."
