IAB UK to host first Ecommerce Week
IAB UK
Taking place 15-19 March, our first Ecommerce Week will see us bring together industry experts at a series of events, reveal key findings from our new research and explore the implications for agencies and advertisers
With shops shut and lockdown keeping us at home, shopping online has seen an explosion of growth in the past year. According to eMarketer, the pandemic pushed UK ecommerce sales over 30% for the first time by October 2020, while the surge in online retail has given rise to new ad products and spend trends.
At our first Ecommerce Week, sponsored by TikTok, we’ll be shining a spotlight on insights, experts and real-life examples as we explore what changing shopping habits mean for digital advertisers and how ecommerce is set to evolve. As part of the week, we’ll be releasing brand new research from our 2021 Real Living project, showing who is driving the ecommerce revolution, where they are spending and what’s likely to happen once lockdown lifts.
