Introducing The Last Thursday Club

IAB UK is starting a monthly after work get-together for its members on the last Thursday of every month
Launching this September, The Last Thursday Club will give IAB UK members a monthly opportunity to network, with each event also featuring an agenda-setting speaker or topical debate to ignite conversation about the biggest topics in adland - from the role of brand purpose in marketing to meaningful inclusion action.
Events will take place between 5-7pm on the last Thursday of every month, with the first one being held on Thursday 29 September at The Hoxton hotel in Holborn. The Last Thursday Club has been created as an exclusive member benefit and is open to all IAB members - bringing together agencies, advertisers, media owners, platforms and ad tech companies.
“Since the pandemic and rise of hybrid working, our members have been telling us that they want more opportunities for in-person networking”, explained Catherine Cribbin, Head of Partnerships at IAB UK. “Having the flexibility to work from home is great, but it’s become increasingly clear that there is also a huge appetite for getting together in real life, meeting new people and catching up with old friends. We are uniquely placed to facilitate this at the IAB and that’s what The Last Thursday Club is all about.”
