New Google Maps algorithm will predict your destination

Google is adding a new feature to its Map facility which will make navigation with the software even smarter. The new algorithm will be able to take into account your historical destinations and your current location to try and determine where you'd like to travel to. The app will then suggest route information such as travel times and traffic conditions.

The new app, called 'Driving Mode', is in the process of being pushed to the Play store, but is not yet expected to be widely available. 

This new feature ensures that Google Maps is not only staying one step ahead of its competitors, but even its users. As well as the separate app, it will be available through a shortcut icon in the latest build of Google Maps.
