Video comes to Tinder: The Perfect Match?
Tinder is rolling out a new feature known as Loops, which brings video to the dating app for the first time.
Loops, a new Tinder feature that allows users of the dating app to add a short clip to their profiles, is being rolled out across the world.
Initial trials of the Loops feature have seen singles who include a video on their dating profile increase their average conversation length with matches by 20 percent.
In addition, users with a profile video also received an average of ten percent more swipes, improving their chance of finding a perfect match.
At the same time, Tinder is increasing the number of photos users can add to their dating profiles from six to nine.
A spokesperson from Tinder commented: "It all started with the swipe - that fun, simple movement that changed the way people meet.
"Now we've got a whole new experience that's really going to set your swipe game in motion...you can be flirty, you can be fun, but no matter what, be you."
