Vodafone enlists Spider-Man to close the digital skills gap

The release of the new Spider-Man film will help Vodafone to direct young people to its free Future Jobs Finder.

Many young people have relevant digital skills, which have come in part from growing up in the modern age, but matching them to jobs can be a challenge.

In a bid to help close the digital skills gap, Vodafone has teamed up with Sony and the hotly-anticipated release of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Throughout the campaign, fans of the superhero will be directed towards the mobile phone provider’s free Future Jobs Finder platform.

Here, they will find a gamified set of resources that will help identify the skills they possess and the career opportunities associated with such talents.

Joakim Reiter, director of external affairs at Vodafone Group, told MobileMarketing Magazine: “Our ambition is to help ten million young people to access digital skills, learning and employment opportunities and our partnership with Sony Pictures will help us accelerate our progress towards this goal by bringing our digital platform, Future Jobs Finder, to more young people who are thinking about their future career.”
