War Child is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict. For more than two decades we’ve been driven by a single vision – for no child’s life to be torn apart by war. Consistent with that, our mission is to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children in war. We aim to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and we stay to support them through their recovery. We keep them safe, help them to learn and overcome their experiences, and equip them with skills for the future. We also work with children and young people to demand their rights and change policies and practices that affect them.
