Jack Dorsey outlines vision for 'simplified' Twitter

Twitter's chief executive has said he wants reinvent the social network as a news sharing platform.
Speaking at the DMEXCO event, Jack Dorsey said Twitter has the ability to break news faster than any other service.
This, he stated, is one of the key benefits of the platform, whereas alternative tools such as Snapchat are more focused on entertainment and social networking.
"You are not going to find the same things [on Twitter] that you would on a social network," Mr Dorsey said.
"That really sets us apart. This is not a new concept; we carry the world conversation and anyone can participate."
Mr Dorsey insisted the speed of Twitter does not compromise its accuracy, as it is able to "immediately correct and be on the record to what is actually true".
"You can go from speculation to fact very quickly," he argued.
Mr Dorsey added that Twitter's challenge now is to make sure people have a good reason to download the app, personalise their own news stream and get involved in conversations.
