Pinterest introduces new chat tool
Pinterest users can now collaborate more closely on creative projects via the platform, thanks to the introduction of a new chat tool.
Digital mood board and ideas-sharing platform Pinterest has announced the rollout of several new features to make collaboration easier for users.
Among these is a new chat function, which will allow Pinterest users to communicate and collaborate more closely on creative projects.
In addition, new group activity feeds are being introduced across the site, which will allow people to easily view what's changed on their project since they last logged in.
Users will also be able to add comments to boards without having to attach them to specific pins for the first time.
In a blog post announcing the changes, Pinterest explained that many of its users access the platform collaboratively to plan projects and events.
"These updates are in direct response to requests from Pinners just like these, and they're part of our ongoing effort to make Pinterest a more productive place to bring events and other projects to life," the blog continued.
