Scope3 has several schemes in place for the ongoing sustainability training and development of our team:

Sustainability Training and Education program - This program includes trainings from the UN, Project drawdown, and ANZ, along with book and podcast recommendations to ensure our team has a well-rounded understanding of sustainability and climate issues

Walk the Walk onboarding- This regular webinar is for all our new onboarding employees and trains them in our sustainability policies from travel and WFH to how we ensure sustainable events and do our monthly carbon reporting.

Book club - This is an employee-generated club where members select a sustainability-related book to discuss and share on a bi-monthly cadence.

Multiple online channels and groups - As a fully remote global company, Scope3 has many opportunities for our teams to learn together through our slack channels, covering sustainability themes from personal action recommendations to industry-specific and national policy-level topics, enabling our employees to share and learn from one another about the latest developments in
sustainability and climate.

Although we consider that the vast majority of projects financed by carbon credits and offsetting are crucial for the climate, the quantification, permanence and additionality of the emissions related to these are mostly very uncertain and therefore they cannot be used to justify emissions or be used to reach emission reduction targets.
